This will be the 5th Anniversary of our annual December AKC Scent Work Trial. The trial will be held at Dream Big Training Center in Lodi, California.
Scent Work is a sport where the dog gets to do what they do all the time, use their amazing noses to smell. The dog works with its handler, usually its owner. Together the dog and handler search for certain scents, depending on the trial.
The classes are Container, Interiors, Exterior, and Buried. The levels are Novice A & B, Advanced A & B, and Excellent A & B.
Our judges are Dee Dee Anderson, Suzanne Edholm, and Lisa Kretner.
A trial of any kind needs volunteers to help run the trial. No experience needed. It is fun and a great way to see what AKC Scent Work is about.
