Where:
Tailored Dog Training, 4475 K Treat Blvd, Concord, CA
What:
Sixteen working teams will receive land-based training. There will be unlimited auditors. All are welcome to attend.
Why:
Join us for a dry dock workshop to learn what’s needed for water work! The workshop will be specifically geared toward your team and the training exercises you most need to be successful. Focus will be on specific solutions that will help you and your PWD be successful at any level:
- Breaking down water tasks to their individual components
- Making it fun – training games and techniques
- Transitioning from land to water successfully
Who: Instructors – PWDCNC Water Committee Members
Here’s your chance! Learn new skills to introduce your team to water work; fine-tune any problematic areas:
- Are you practicing the basic obedience skills necessary for water work exercises?
- Have you struggled transitioning from land-based training to “in the water” work?
- Are you and your dog “stuck” on exercises that keep you from being successful at the entry levels in water trials?
A light lunch will be served for those attending.
It is suggested that participating dogs have at least completed puppy kindergarten (or equivalent).
