This will be the 5th Anniversary of our annual December AKC Scent Work Trial. The trial will be held at Dream Big Training Center in Lodi, California. Scent Work is a sport where the dog gets to do what they do all the time, use their amazing noses to smell. The dog works with its handler, usually its owner. Together the dog and handler search for certain scents, depending on the trial. The classes are Container, Interiors, Exterior, and Buried. The levels are Novice A & B, Advanced A & B, and Excellent A & B. Our judges are Dee Dee Anderson, Suzanne Edholm, and Lisa Kretner. Our trial is limited to 300 entries. Entries are accepted in order of FIRST RECEIVED. No hand deliveries are allowed. The Opening Date for our trial is September 19, 2023, 12:00 PM, noon. The Closing Date for our trial is November 29, 2023, 5:00 PM. Trial entries are now closed Actual trial date is December 17, 2023 A trial of any kind needs volunteers to help run the trial.
