Top 5 Reasons to Join or Renew your Membership with the PWDCNCJagger-Puppy

  1. The PWDCNC is an independent AKC and PWDCA-sanctioned dog club dedicated to providing its members with fun, informative, and competitive programs that introduce the wide range of activities available to you and your PWD.
  2. Throughout the year, the PWDCNC offers:
    • Educational workshops and resources on topics such as grooming, beginning and advanced water work, obedience/rally, canine aggression, puppy socialization, Canine Good Citizen, Therapy Dog training/testing, and more
    • Exciting competitive trials in water work, obedience/rally, agility, and conformation
    • Family fun events including our annual picnic in the spring and Dogtoberfest in the Fall
    • Major AKC-sanctioned events including our Regional Specialty in Napa, and Agility Trials at Rancho Murrieta, and supports several dogs shows annually such as Woofstock and the Del Monte Kennel Club Dog Show
  3. The PWDCNC contributes a portion of your membership dues annually to the PWD Foundation, which funds canine medical research focusing on issues affecting the health and well-being of our PWDs and sponsors studies to find cures and treatments for common PWD health issues such as Hemangiosarcoma, Addison’s Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Hip Dysplasia, Eye Diseases, and more.
  4. The PWDCNC memorializes every reported member-PWD who crosses the Rainbow Bridge by providing a generous donation in your PWD’s name to the PWDCA Remembrance Fund which also supports PWD Health.
  5. The PWDCNC provides loads of opportunities for you to uncover and enjoy all the amazing things your PWD is capable of and great camaraderie among like-thinking PWD lovers—not to mention mutual commiseration over your pup’s more exasperating talents—such as counter-surfing, obsession with certain types of paper products, and over-the-top vocalizations!  Join Today!
