Trick Dog Training –Impress family & friends with simple tricks that can enhance your PWD’s focus and obedience. Read on! Training should be fun for both the dog and handler. Novice teams can overstress about training necessary skills for life or competition. Learning training techniques working on tricks takes the stress out of making any mistakes. If you or the dog make a mistake, oh well!, it was just a silly trick! The opportunity to take the AKC Novice Trick Dog test. Basic good manners—Build your PWD’s confidence and ability to interact politely with the world around them Basic skills needed by every dog to be a good companion and begin the path to other fun activities such as rally, obedience, and water work Basic skills needed by a PWD’s handler to help the dog be successful The opportunity to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test To preview, and possibly practice, for the sessions you can access information at https://www.akc.org/products-services/training-programs/canine-good-citizen/canine-good-citizen-test-items/ and https://www.akc.org/sports/trick-dog/ These include training videos.
